Garden Rooms

The gardens at Peppers Mineral Springs Retreat are recognised as some of the most picturesque in regional Victoria. Weaving throughout the five acres on the property, these award winning gardens include a formal miniature hedged maze, Neptune pond, hidden Bay Tree sanctuary and pebbled avenue lined with majestic Poplar trees. Tucked into one corner of the hotel, behind a concaved wooden pagoda over a pebbled path, the 10 Garden Rooms are a natural extension of the garden. Little wooden cottages divided into two rooms, intertwined with growing Pencil Pines, Willow trees, Pittosporums and Native fauna; each Room with their own small private terrace at the front, complete with outdoor table and chairs. The Spa Garden Rooms also feature an intimate outdoor spa on the back terrace.

Inside, the Garden Rooms provide a small cottage experience; slightly more spacious than most of the hotel rooms, furnished with simple country charm. Light toned walls, dado wood panelling and large canvases from the property’s farm, Birch Estate taken by international photo journalist, Donna Todd, gently easy you into a slower pace of the country. High quality mattresses on King sized beds (various bed configurations available – see below), crisp white linen, perfect pillows, and fluffy throws make for heavenly repose. As centrepiece to the room, the original cane bird’s nest pendulum ceiling light continues to bring the charm of the garden indoors, along with cane armchairs and coffee table.
